What can I expect from this Vitamin Profile?

This profile checks your Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and Folate levels. These vitamins are all essential for your health and wellbeing.

Vitamin B12 is particularly important for those on a plant-based diet. Low levels of Vitamin B12 and Folate can have very severe effects on blood and overall health.

Vitamin D is also very important for anyone living in the UK. Up to a quarter of the population is low in Vitamin D at the end of winter. Low levels can cause a long list of health problems including fatigue, bone & muscle pain, depression and more.

Process

This test uses a simple blood sample, which is completed by our registered nurse and sent to the London Medical Laboratory. We are experts in phlebotomy and can work our magic with all patients, with needle free options for those with needle phobias.

Results

A report will be received via email with the results. All of the test results are reviewed by London Medical Laboratory in-house GPs, who will highlight anything that may need further investigation or follow up with a doctor. Our Nurse practitioner will follow up any areas of concerns following your blood test and will review the tests with you.
